Public Health Update

On December 31, 2019, Health authorities identified a new coronavirus through a series of reported cases of pneumonia.

The City of Toronto's elected officials and healthcare professionals are taking all necessary measures to protect the public. Local, provincial, and federal health agencies are continuing to actively monitor the situation and have indicated that the risk to Toronto residents remains low. That said, please wash your hands frequently and take normal precautions to stop the spread of germs.

Ontario's Health Minister recently announced a new website where you can learn about the coronavirus, how to protect yourself, and how to recognize possible symptoms.
